Overport SRS recently hosted an exciting and inspiring Career Day, giving our learners an opportunity to explore the many possibilities that await them in the future. β¨
Our Grade 7 learners enthusiastically dressed up as the careers they aspire to pursue and shared information about their chosen professions. Learners showcased a wonderful variety of career choices, including doctors, lawyers, engineers, businesspeople, teachers, IT professionals, members of law enforcement, pilots, scientists, sportspeople, comedians, welders, fashion designers, and chefs. π©ββοΈβοΈπ·ββοΈπ»βοΈπ¨π¨βπ³
The programme was further enriched by inspiring guest speakers, including photographer Calista Naicker and Matron Sue Chetty, who shared their experiences and insights with our learners. Their stories provided valuable encouragement and helped learners understand the dedication and passion required to succeed in their chosen careers. πΈπ©Ί
Our Grade R learners also joined in the excitement as they celebrated their future dreams by dressing up as the careers they hope to pursue one day. It was wonderful to see our youngest learners already dreaming big! ππ©βππ¨βππ©βπ«
Career Day was a fantastic opportunity to encourage our learners to dream, explore, and believe in their potential. The day reminded us that with hard work, determination, and the right opportunities, every dream has the potential to become a reality. ππ
