Leadership requires individuals to have the ability to influence, delegate and articulate people on a daily basis. On the 11th and 12th of March 2021, Overport Srs Primary held our prefect induction for the Senior and FET phase in the assembly area. Our grade 7 learners conducted themselves with absolute poise and elegance during this essential function. The appointment of our prefects is an event where learners are chosen with a criteria of possessing distinct qualities such as leadership, discipline, organization, academic consistency whilst being a trustworthy individual whom upholds good morals and values. Our prefects are indentified with a circular badge upon their uniform.
Our 2021 prefects have taken a pledge to carry out all duties handed to them with honesty, professionalism and adhere to all rules and regulations in order to inspire learners of the school who seek a role model.
Our deputy head girl for 2021 is Lusanda Ndala and our deputy head boy for 2021 is Ryan Reddy. Last but not least our head girl for 2021 is none other than Lerato Speelman and our head boy for 2021 is Anver Dejager! We are proud of every learner who has obtained this achievement of becoming a prefect and we trust that each prefect will upload their duty with utmost dignity.
