On Mandela Day, 18 July 2024, five of our learners – Abdullah ahmed Cassim, Saveez Amin, Marcus Chakwenya, Liam Abraham, and Sahla Natalie – put their coding skills to the test at a special tournament. Our budding programmers trained after school for months before the tournament. The event, held at HRPS, saw 150 learners and 30 teachers from 14 Durban West schools compete in a unique unplugged coding challenge.
