Today, the Grade 7 learners at Overport SRS Primary School hosted an exciting Market Day, bringing their creativity and entrepreneurial skills to life. The event was filled with vibrant stalls offering a wide range of goodies, showcasing the learners’ hard work, innovation, and teamwork.
The school grounds were buzzing with energy as students and teachers explored the various stalls. Some of the most popular items included refreshing Boba drinks, sweets hidden in fun toy containers, and fancy light-up stationery that drew plenty of attention. Laser pointers and an array of other sweet treats were also in high demand.
Adding to the mix were unique recycled items, including handcrafted flowers, and thoughtfully made friendship bracelets that emphasized creativity and sustainability. Ice cream, candy floss, waffles and a host of other treats delighted everyone with their delicious flavors and bright colors.
The Market Day was not just about buying and selling; it was an opportunity for the Grade 7 learners to develop valuable skills in entrepreneurship, money management, and teamwork. Their enthusiasm and dedication were evident in the high-quality products they offered and the cheerful atmosphere they created.
Congratulations to our Grade 7 learners for organizing such a successful and enjoyable Market Day!
