A mixture of grades come together for the extra curricular activities after school. One of which being Arts and Crafts. In this past week, the learners explored the beautiful technique of color blending on wood. The first step was to choose vibrant colors of paint and apply them to the wood surface. We used brushes to blend the colors together, creating smooth transitions and unique color patterns. The blending made the wood come to life with a soft, gradient effect that looked like oceans and sunsets or the open fields.

We also had a creative twist by learners who used papers plates, paint and yarn. The threading of colorful yarn or string through the heart shape, added texture and dimension to the artwork. The colors from the threading complemented the painted paper plate, giving the heart a striking and artistic look.

The final piece was a beautiful combination of colors and textures, showcasing both our painting and threading skills. It was fun to see how simple materials like wood, yarn, and paint could come together to create something so meaningful and eye-catching.
