A QMS (Quality Management System) workshop, which is the appraisal system for educators was presented by Ms Leann Roos of NAPTOSA on 26 October 2021 at Overport SRS Primary School. Ms Roos is an Executive Officer at NAPTOSA and has presented many such workshops virtually in KwaZulu Natal. She was invited by our school to empower our educators on the amended appraisal system.
All educators attended this workshop which was held at our hall and all Covid 19 protocols were observed. Educators were guided through the process of change from IQMS to QMS and how the instrument affects the Level 1 and Level 2 educators in terms of progression, competence and advancement in their teaching profession.
